“Yearbook” Poster Nominated at ALTFF Fall 2024

I was pleased to learn that the poster artwork I created for the short film Yearbook has been recognised as a Category Award Nominee in the Poster category at the Fall 2024 Alternative Film Festival in Toronto.

The poster is composed from two production stills I captured on set during the second day of filming. Writer/Director Thomas Burke and I had a chance to brainstorm poster ideas early that morning, and this concept quickly emerged as a strong contender for the film’s key art. Marie O’Donovan and James Hayes generously stepped in to pose for the images before heading into their first scene of the day.

It’s always rewarding to see still photography created during production find a second life as part of a film’s visual identity, and I’m delighted to see the image recognised by ALTFF.
